For venues
We scan wedding and event venues with a LiDAR camera. Couples get a photoreal walkthrough they can open from anywhere — and because the capture is measured, the same room arrives in the free Celestial planner at its real size and shape.
No venue has been scanned yet, and the camera has not been bought — both happen against the first bookings. Here is exactly what exists today.

No venue has been scanned yet. There is no portfolio on this page, no example tour to open and no customer to ring, because there is not one to give you. The scanning is opening now, with a small founding group of venues within driving distance of St. Louis.
The other half is not a plan. The planner couples lay a room out in — in 2D with real dimensions, and in 3D you can walk through — is live and free today, and you can open it in the next minute without talking to anybody. Every claim below is labelled Built or Opening so you can tell which one you are reading.
A walkthrough of your actual rooms that a couple moves through in a browser — no app, no download, no headset. The ballroom as it stands, not as it photographed on one good afternoon in June.

There is no turnaround time quoted anywhere on this page. Nothing has been delivered yet, so a number of days would be a guess — you get a date in writing before a visit is booked, and it will be one we can keep.
What it takes off your team
Ceiling height. Where the bar actually is. Whether the patio is covered. What the room looks like when it is not dressed for somebody else’s wedding. Whether a head table for twelve fits in front of that window. Your team answers these in an inbox, and then answers them again out loud on a Saturday.
A walkthrough answers them before the enquiry reaches a person — and it answers them at eleven at night, which is when two people with two work schedules are actually sitting down with a laptop together.
The tours that survive that are then worth having. A couple who arrives having already walked the room and laid their reception out in it is not coming to find out whether it fits. They are coming to meet you, or to sign.
And the enquiry you lose most often is the one you never hear about: the out-of-town couple who shortlisted four venues, could only fly in for two, and quietly dropped the ones they could not see.
That is an argument, not a measurement. We have no booking figures to quote you, because we have no venues yet — and a percentage borrowed from somebody else’s marketing would not be about your building anyway.
The half that is not a tour
A 3D tour is a look around. It is a good look around — and then the couple closes it, opens a spreadsheet, and goes back to guessing whether their twelve-person head table fits in front of your window.
The reason to have a wedding venue scanned by this company in particular is what waits on the other side of the capture: the same people build the planner, so your room does not have to be re-drawn by hand to get into it. Measurements go in as measurements.
The Celestial planner has a layout builder that works in real room dimensions in feet: tables added, dragged and sized by the corner, with guests seated from the couple’s own list. It has a 3D walkthrough with a library of parametric props — linens by colour, candles, chairs, the dance floor, the bar, the arch — so a couple can stand inside their own layout and look at it.

Instead of a couple typing your dimensions in off a PDF and hoping, your room opens at the right size and shape and they lay their wedding out inside it — months before they have stood in the building.
Which is also the point at which “will our wedding fit in your room” stops being a thing your team litigates over email.

Pricing
A one-off capture fee, banded by the size of the space. A chapel and a 400-cover ballroom are not the same day’s work, and pricing them as if they were means one of you is being overcharged.
Priced lower per space than the first. Adding your ceremony lawn, the patio and two suites to a visit that is already happening costs a fraction of bringing the camera back out for them.
A monthly fee per venue that keeps the tour online, embedded on your site and connected to the planner. Not a subscription you need in order to keep the scan — one that keeps it working where you use it.
There is no figure on this page yet, and that is deliberate. These bands have never been quoted to a real venue. Printing a number now would mean printing a guess, and the first venue quoted something different would rightly hold this page against us.
So you get a written quote against your own spaces — square footage, how many rooms, how far the drive is — before anybody books a date. Founding venues keep the rate they are quoted for as long as their hosting stays active.
Founding venues
There is a real trade here and it is worth stating plainly. You would be booking a service with no portfolio, from somebody who has scanned no venues, and taking our word for the quality of the result before there is a result to look at.
In exchange, the first venues get a founding rate held for the life of their hosting, and their rooms are the ones couples find in the planner while there is nothing else in it.
If that is not a trade you want to make, the honest advice is to wait until there are tours on this page to look at — and there will be.
Celestial Cartography is run by Celestial Celebrations LLC in St. Louis, Missouri, alongside Celestial Collective, the planning software the scans feed. The first scans will be within driving distance of St. Louis.
Enquire
Email goes to a person — the owner — not to a queue. It helps to include your venue name and city, roughly how many spaces you would want captured, the approximate square footage of the largest one, and a link to your website.
The planner is the half you can check before you reply to anything. Open it, build a room, walk it.
