Polaris
Ask in a sentence, get the real answer from the wedding you're actually working. Not a search box. Not a PDF you scroll in a dark room.
Polaris is live inside Celestial today. The phone app is in development for iOS and Android.
All of these have an answer sitting in your event already. The problem was never that you didn't know — it's that finding it took four taps while a room waited.
"Who's giving toasts, and in what order?"
"What's the officiant's name?"
"What time are the first dances?"
"What's on the do-not-play list?"
"Who do I call if something goes wrong?"
"When does the venue want us packed out?"
The part that matters
A wrong officiant name is worse than no answer, because you'll say it out loud. So Polaris doesn't compose answers — it reads them out of your actual event, and the model is only there to understand the question and phrase the reply.
When something hasn't been filled in, it says so. It will tell you "that isn't entered yet" rather than inventing a plausible name, and it distinguishes that from "there are none" — because on a wedding day those two answers lead to very different decisions.
And it reads with your own credentials. If the database won't show you something, it won't show Polaris either. No prompt can talk it around that, because the restriction lives in Postgres rather than in an instruction.
Coming to your phone
The app is being built now, and the venue decides the design. Reception halls are basements and barns — so your event is saved to the phone and stays readable with no signal at all. The screen is dark by default, because a white screen at full brightness lights up your face from below and you become the person on their phone at the wedding.
Voice is push-to-talk, because a room at 95 decibels defeats anything that listens on its own.
Not yet on the App Store or Google Play. Polaris works in the web app today.
