Celestial Collective

Finding and inviting vendors

Four ways to reach a supplier, and what changes once one joins you.

About 6 mins

Why this matters

A supplier who is on Celestial with you stops emailing you for the guest count, the timeline and the address — they read them. That is worth more than it sounds: it is most of the admin of a wedding.

Do this

  1. Invite the ones you have booked
They get a request from a client about a wedding they are already working on, not a pitch from a company they have never heard of.
  2. Post what you still need
Say it once — the date, roughly the budget — and the suppliers who are free that day reply to you.
  3. Search the Collective
Suppliers who are actually here: message them, agree terms, and book inside Celestial.
  4. Turn on Let vendors find you
The standing version of a request. The ⓘ beside it says exactly what a supplier can see — never your budget, guest list, address, email or phone.

You’ll know it worked when

At least one supplier is attached to your wedding and can see your timeline.

If it doesn’t go to plan

Listed, but nobody is approaching? Choose the trades you are still looking for. With none chosen every kind of supplier may approach, which is rarely what anybody wants after the first week.
