Why this matters
Every other number in the planner comes off this list — the seating chart
seats it, the caterer’s figures come from it, and the cost per head is counted
from it. Getting it in once means never being asked for it again.
Do this
- Add your people
Names first; addresses and meals can follow. Plus-ones are a number you allow per guest, and their names can be filled in later — usually by them.
- Share your RSVP link or QR code
Both are on the RSVP tab. The link works with no account and no app for the person replying.
- Let the replies come in
An online reply lands against the right guest and is tagged “replied online” on your tracker.
- Check the mismatches
Anyone who replied but is not on your list is called out in a banner at the top — usually a nickname, or a surname spelled differently.
You’ll know it worked when
Your tracker shows a yes / pending / no count you recognise, and the seating chart offers those names to seat.
If it doesn’t go to plan
A guest says they replied and you cannot see it? Look at the banner
above the tracker: a reply under a name that is not on the list is held there
rather than guessed at, because guessing puts somebody at the wrong table.
