Your registry

One page for gifts, wherever they are actually sold.

About 5 mins

Why this matters

Guests want one link, not four shop accounts. Your registry page collects what you want from any shop, and a guest marks something as bought without having to say who they are — which is the only way a registry stays accurate.

Do this

  1. Add what you want
From any shop. There is a bookmarklet that takes the page you are looking at and adds it, so you are not copying links by hand.
  2. Add a cash fund if you want one
For the honeymoon, or the house. It sits on the same page as the gifts rather than being a separate link to explain.
  3. Share the one link
It lives on your wedding website, so the address you have already given people is the address the registry is on.

You’ll know it worked when

Opening your registry link signed out shows your list, with nothing marked bought that has not been.

If it doesn’t go to plan

A gift bought twice? Claiming is anonymous on purpose — guests are far more likely to mark something taken when they are not being asked to sign in, and a registry nobody updates is the version that gets double-bought.
