Auto-Chase

The follow-up you meant to send on Tuesday.

Why this matters

Whoever replies first usually gets the conversation, and everything AFTER that first reply used to be unchased: a proposal could go out and be met with silence forever. A couple who meant to reply and forgot looks exactly like a couple who chose somebody else, and only one of those is worth a nudge.

Do this

  1. A proposal goes unanswered
It is followed up for you.
  2. A questionnaire is sent and never returned
    Same.
  3. A lead goes quiet
Told apart from a wedding that is simply not due yet — a date twelve months out is not a dormant lead.
  4. A contract sits unsigned
Chased separately, so one silence never produces two nudges.

You’ll know it worked when

Chases go out on their own. You see them in the event's history, so you always know what was sent in your name.

If it doesn’t go to plan

Every recipe can be switched off individually on the Automations screen. Turn one off if your own follow-up habit is better than ours — the worst outcome is you and the app both chasing the same person.
